A NOTE FROM GRAMMA about the elections!!!!!!

          What is wrong with you "kids?" This has got to stop - now!

          I am watching as you guys are destroying our proven system of governing by continuing to react to the symptoms that are being displayed by two individuals who both should have been told to shape up at some point in their lives.

          Some time ago I taught high school students who had such bad behavior that no other classroom teacher could deal with them.  I usually had 10 to 12 students in class at one time.

          The first thing I learned as a teacher in this situation was that I could expect to encounter lies, vulgar language, threats on my life, cheating, stealing, and worse!  The more the students could shock me - the more they acted out.

          I learned quickly that what I was experiencing were the symptoms of much deeper problems in the lives of these children.  Whenever a new student joined my class we would go through a difficult time of working through the symptoms the individual child was displaying.

          I always found that there was a reason for their outbursts, cheating and disrespect somewhere in their past - and a deeply wounded child was hiding in each one of them.

          Nothing could be done to help the students until I stopped reacting to the symptoms they displayed!!

          The United States of America is founded on solid ground!  There have been bumps along the way since her founding but we have always returned to that foundation.  "In God We Trust!"

          The core question we need to answer before this election is simple!  Do we want a government built upon Democracy and Capitalism or keep heading toward Socialism?

          History has shown that socialism leads to governments that are much like the ones that rule China and Russia. Personal freedoms are restricted for the good of the "people."  The handicapped, elderly, free thinkers and those who are members of non-state approved religions are considered "non-productive citizens!"

          Democracy and Capitalism lead to personal freedom and the "pursuit of happiness!"

          America - it is time to quit reacting to the symptoms that the candidates are displaying and get back to the fundamental things that are needed to make this nation a leader and a symbol of hope and goodness in the world again!!

          It is time to choose - Democracy or Socialism!
